Easy uncomplicated 8 bay JBOD?

I am looking for an 8 bay JBOD that i can plug n play into my mac pro. I have 10 or so drives lying around and I want to get them in an enclosure that can just read them all at once. Is this possible or do I nee a raid card to run something like this? I have a mac pro 3,1 with a 5870 video card in the pci-e 16 slot. would love input about inexpensive 8 bay JBOD towers and the like

Using the included eSATA PCIe card is relatively painless, but you can also use other cards.
