Our cable company recently got bought out and the new company has assigned me a new IP range. Problem is, one of the sites that I frequent several times a day has that IP range banned. The site admins have been slow to get it fixed on their end so I was wondering...

Would it be possible for me to easily and securely set up a proxy server on my friend's Mac and then just proxy into it when I need to browse that site? I googled around but all I found were tutorials on how to access a proxy, not how to set one up.

Any help is appreciated!
