I'd like to set up a webcam that would run 24/7 so I can see my driveway all the time (long story), is it easy/cheapish to set up? I have two different macs I can use for it, both running 10.4.6, any help?

it's not too hard to set up if you have a long enough Firewire, USB cord..

But, there's not a lot of options for Mac webcams..Everyone is just going to tell you to get the iSight or the Ice cam. The ice cam won't be good enough quality for what you want, and the iSight is $$, you might be able to use a Logitech quickcam if you have an older version of OS X.

Actually, I just found a program called macam and it seems I can use a ton of different webcams. I need to grab the old one I have back at my parents house to see if I can get it to work for me. Free = awesome
