I like to keep my iPad light and accessible without a case but still want to have some scratch protection. I originally got a white textured faux leather skin from dbrands. I really liked it and it was easy to install. However, after a short period of time the edges where the pencil charges lifted and kept catching dust and lifting more. I tried a new set of edges and same thing happened. Recently they stopped carrying the textured white skin so I looked for another company.

I found EasySkinz from UK and so glad I did. Much better quality than the previous company. The skin went on easily and the cutouts were perfect - much more precise than the dbrand. Additionally, the edges are ingenious. They go all the way around but leave the antennas open. So no lining up edges to each other that never align perfectly. Also, the side with the pencil charging is fully covered but still very magnetic and charges just fine. I thought the edges pieces where they are open might lift up and catch dust but I haven’t seen any of that. They seem to have much better adhesive that keeps them flat.

This EasySkinz company is my new go-to for skins. Highly recommend them. It does take a couple of weeks for shipment to the US but very worth the wait.

I had to replace my 2011 iPad 2 A5 (32nm) with a 2013 iPad Air A7 (28nm) because I dropped it on hard floor and dented one corner of the tablet.

That dent zeroed out my wifi signal. Got a quote for repair and back then it was like buying another iPad. So I did.

If that did not occur I'd likely use my 1st iPad until Mar 2017 when the 2017 iPad A9 (14nm) came out.

I'd use the 2017 until 2027 with a 5nm (N5) chip when the 1st iPad with replaceable battery comes out

Not looking for a skin for my iPad but for my iPhone. The brand sound good. I’ll check them out, thanks.
