I have done some digging around the internet and what I am looking for is apparently called a URL scheme, and this is in regards to the ebay mobile app.
I frequently do research on my phone for items I am going to buy for either resale or general use. I setup some calls to the ebay API a while back that will search completed listings for "X" and tell me the average, low, high of sold items of "X" and how many have sold.
About a year ago, they changed some things on the mobile site. Once this API call was complete I had a link setup to allow me to view completed listings. So I get the info above and I say..well show me the completed listings. Now, they make all URL's like this go straight to the mobile site.
What I am hoping to do is insert a URL there that tells it to open the link in the ebay app which is where I would need the URL Scheme so when I click on the link the phone jumps right over into a completed search in their app.
So anyways, I like the app...just want to figure out how to send my info directly into the ebay program without having to enter information twice.
Thanks for any input you can offer!
