All Apple products are made in China.

What I was wondering is if those where gray market, fakes with inferior electronics or rejects.

The ones I saw didn't have the 3 button remote either.

I've scanned over a bit of the feedback and every comment about them from the buyer was positive except one which said:

"Great communication! works great! although quality not as good as my original. 821663690 ( 6 ) Dec-05-11 18:09"

Seller replied:

"Reply by price0816 (Dec-06-11 01:58):
this is apple headphnes, you could view the feedback from other sellers."

May come from same factory, going off feedback they look good.

Unless you just want Apple headphones though for $30 you can pickup some skullcandy or other that has the same feature and you can take back to store if they don't meet your needs.

I love ebay. I buy lots of stuff there. But I wouldn't recommend buying the Apple IEMs there, from any dealer. There are just too many fakes and they're too hard to discern from genuine. Even dealers who think they are selling genuine can be selling fakes, depending on the wholesaler they obtained them from.

If you must have these headphones, buy them from a brick and mortar, preferably Apple.

I bought a set of these off of ebay because I lost my apple ones.

I found my apple ones one day.

to be honest, the genuine apple ones sound just as bad as the knock offs.

My opinion is, save your money and buy headphones from another company.

Thanks for all the replys guys.

I was just curious about the low price. I will go with klipsch S4i as I like a little more bass that the Apples.

Are those for real?

No, they're not. I bought these and upon putting them in my ears it was immediately clear that they're fake. Excessive mid-bass and no clarity at all. I don't for the life of me comprehend wtf is wrong with the people in his feedback profile. He refunded me in full though.

Anyway, I popped one side open and there's a cheap single dynamic driver inside.

Amazon has V-Moda with the mic and control on sale right now for almost half price. I already received my set.

Thanks.

I wonder how they are doing a 3 button remote. I read that third parties had to purchase an special chip from Apple to make it work.
