Hi,

I have a bunch of CDs I want to sell. (If you're in the UK, PM me lol)

Since I have to take photos of them all, I figured it would be great if I could:
  1. I could take a second photo of the barcode
  2. There was some software that would read the barcode and store all the information about the CD
  3. Preferably in CSV format
  4. On a PPC iMac G5
It would certainly make selling on eBay less tedious. Can anyone reccommend websites/software with this functionality?

Cheers.

Delicious Library is close, and will probably do what you want--its barcode reader (which uses any compatible camera) works relatively well and pulls plenty of info from Amazon for you.

I'm pretty sure it can also export in CSV format, though I'd make sure. Fortunately, there's a trial version, so you can test and see if it'll do what you need.

Thanks - I will check that out. I guess I've posted in the wrong bit of the forum, as its more of a software question I am asking....
