ebay error with Firefox 3.5.3?

I was posting some items for sale on ebay on my mbp (osx 10.5.8) and FF 3.5.3 and it wouldn't allow me to change the quantity of items field on ebay. Wondering if any of you have experienced this? Never happened on a pc with IE.

What program are you using to post on ebay?

Ebay's online interface to post items for sale, no other program. The browser is firefox. I'm wondering if something is Mac OS X 10.5.8 makes it glitchy with ebay online form to post items for sale. Everything works on it except, in the field where it says the quantity of items your selling, it stays on "1" I highlight it hit delete, nothing, try to type in another number and nothing.
