Ebay iphone fm transmitter works on all iphones but my jailbroken iphone

I recently purchased a fm transmitter from ebay for my jailbroken iphone. It works on my roommates iphone 3gs, my other roomates 3g jailbroken, not unlocked iphone, however, it won't work on my iphone. I have a jailbroken and unlocked iphone 3g. HELP!
