Its not a Nehalem dual from apple. I wouldn't buy that for that amount (or any amount). It probably started life as a 2.26GHz. Apple's specs are 2.26GHz, 2.66GHz, or 2.93GHz for the dual. Won't have an Apple warranty.

They are claiming a one year warranty.

If they are an AASP, they may be able to do this and have it covered under the original warranty. Not the CPUs of course, but they would be covered under their own warranty.

Is a fraud... He lies and tries to tell you these are really mac pros, when in fact they aren't. I have ebay investigating his criminal activities.. I also forwarded descriptions of the mac pros he is selling to Apple' consumer affiars and they are looking into PROSECUTING this individual.

He is bad news... he is also 15 years old.. a kid.

Stay away from those fake mac pros! Buy authentic from Apple.

I meant to say will it worth it to look into these aftermarket upgrades? I am also wondering if anyone here has deal with ebay listing like this http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-NEHALEM-MAC-PRO-8-CORE-3-2GHz-16GB-DDR3-2TB-HDD-/140410121875?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Apple_Desktops&hash=item20b1186e93
