I am looking for a software application (Windows or Mac) that sends me an email or some how alerts me when a new listing is created that meets my search criteria. For example, I am looking for a Core 2 Duo T7400 on eBay and when one is newly listed I want to be notified. Do you guys know of any such application?

Close to the bottom of the page of results is an RSS feed link. You could just use the RSS feed for your search to keep tabs on what's on eBay. I do the same thing with Craigslist, checking it every couple of days.
