Would selling a 8 GB Ipod Touch (never opened, brand new) fetch as good of a price in a 1 day auction as it would in a 7 day auction?

I'm expecting to get over 180 for it, but would it be risky to do a one day auction? I figure since the ipod touch is so popular, someone will pay the FMV for it, even in a 24 hour auction.

Thought/tips/advice?

Have you thought about trying http://www.gumtree.com/ or http://www.craigslist.org/ you might get the price you want?

Go for a three day auction. Nobody really finds auctions until the 2 day mark anyway, there's very little benefit in a 7 day auction, and 1 day is too short and a little harrowing.

For an item as common as an iPod, 7 day auctions are useless. I also say do a 3 day auction.

I think its far more important to focus on an auction title, then anything else. Do some test searches and see what words get you the most items.
