For me, I couldn't go for a cheap ebay sleeve, it may be good quality but I went for a known brand since I did pay over $1000 for this piece of tech I'm not going to go cheap on a bag or a sleeve.

That's just my personal opinion, I don't know the quality on the ebay sleeves. I went and got a incase sleeve since the main issue for me was the zip I heard that the zips can scratch the aluminum case of the macbook pro.

Is the incase sleeve zipperless? I don't really want a zipper tbh cause I'm always afraid I'll scratch it.

The incase has zips, but it will not scratch or even touch your macbook as it has been made with a padded zipper binding, which protects the macbook from being scratched by the zipper. Think of it as another protection from the zipper itself.

You can definitely feel the quality of the product.

Here's a link with pictures that will give you an idea of the zip problem the you may be afraid of.

Rofl. Brand name sleeves aren't made from magical threads that are immune to all damage.

Except maybe hubris.
