Hey guys,

I am a long time reader, but first time poster. Just registered today! In hopes of getting a Macbook Pro. I found a listing on eBay, and wanted your honest opinion whether this be a good buy. no one is bidding yet, however I will be waiting until near the end to bid, hoping to get it at the selling price.

Anyways, here is the link. Please give me an honest feedback whether this computer is good for the price standing as of now. I see it right now as $1499US. Which is what I can really afford, otherwise I buy from the refurbish apple store!

Let me know what you guys think!

I will be using the computer for the usual things. ie. internet, web, chat, gaming, autocad - bootcamp, and sheer desire to be in os x.

Couple of things -- The seller doesn;t offer shipping insurance. You MUST insist on it being shipped insured with a signature on delivery

Apple's refurb price (in Canada) is CDN$1799, but with free shipping, and you would pay tax.

Don't forget that the price is US dollars, which will add another $100 in CDN

The seller hasn't sold anything for a year or more, but they have been active buying - including the Booq bag and the skin they are including.

Thank you so much. I will definitely ask for the shipping insurance. Hopefully I can get the bid at $1499 though! :D
