I've searched the forums and searched the web and now I would like some advice. Does anyone know what ebook publishing software will allow me to create ebooks that can be read on the iPhone, either through purchase on the App Store or direct?

The webpages for the applications I've found on the Internet all read like fat-buster or used-car ads (I've never seen so much yellow highlighting). This doesn't give me a lot of confidence in their products.

What I'm looking for is software that will produce an ebook that can only be read on one computer, that allows graphics and hotlinks, and that has "floating" text that will adjust itself to the screen width when someone increases or decreases the size (also a necessity). Sounds like HTML, I know.

If anyone has suggestions or can point me in the right direction, that would be great. I suppose I could contact a company already doing this, but I would prefer something I could control myself.

Thank you.

Don
