Hey guys! My series 4 watch ekg doesn’t work anymore. It doesn’t register my finger on it and I tried restarting it and restoring it. It worked after the update. There is a little nicks from bumping into things with it. Would this be covered under my applecare+ or will I have to pay $70 for servicing? I’m not sure if there was light scratches on it before it stopped working. I’m just afraid they will give me a hard time... have any of you had a similar experience? I’m upset that it broke this easily when I never dropped. I never slammed into anything really that hard that would of broken it off the top of my head.

Contact Apple. They’ll cover it. Those nicks are so minor they won’t factor in to anything.
I contacted them and they are shipping me a box to send it in with. I told him that I had minor scratches on it, but no cracks. He said it should be considered “normal wear and tear”. I’m not sure how the ecg works, but I’m not sure if it needed to be scratch free for it to work. I just hope it’s covered for free and I don’t have to pay for the accidental damage

You’ll be fine.

Most likely will be covered by your AC+. Couple scuffs and wears won't forfeit your coverage, relax.

I need to replace my IPhone X battery again out of warranty soon and I don’t feel like spending another $70 on a repair right after.
Sorry I needed this peace of mind lol.
