1. If a Watch owner wanted to lend the Watch to a relative, spouse, or parent to take an ECG, can you print out just that ECG or that person's chart?

2. To put it another way, can you save to PDF or print out selective ECGs?

3. How many does it store? I suppose they're transferred to the iPhone.

4. I hope they are NOT stored in iCloud. Or, are they?

I'd imagine that doing selective saving or printing is possible… Otherwise, you'd up sharing a long laundry list of ECGs with your doctor rather than, say, a recent one or two where, perhaps, you had palpitations or some symptoms — and wanted them to review those in particular.

Hence, it would seem that you could lend your Watch to a family member, take an ECG, and print it out so that they could show it to their doctor, cardiologist, dry cleaner, florist, pet sitter, or whomever.
(Trying to add note of levity to what some of us may find is otherwise a dreary medical topic.)

5. Hmm… speaking of pets, has anyone taken their dog's pulse and ECG? To show to their vet?

There's such a HUGE market for pet products of all sorts of types, I’d imagine that Apple could tap into a veritable goldmine — an Apple Watch for your dog! With dog exercise and dog-napping modes. Or, a Kitty, Friskies, cat-toy mode!

1) Yes, from the Apple Health app, each ECG can be exported as an image
2) Yes, Export as PDF and/or Standard export features (sms, photos, etc ...)
3) ECG are stored into the HealthKit database, located in your iPhone. You can setup this database to be saved into iCloud (In an encrypted backup) or Not.
4) No by default, but it s recommended to use the iCloud backup option for your Healthkit data
5) I've never tried on my dogs ;)
