Evening everyone, I'm what you'd call an emerging digital composer, well, amateur composer is more suitable. ;) Anyway, I'm getting my new 1.5GHz 15-inch PB tomorrow (FedEx is hoarding it for one more night down the street, blast them!) and I'm wondering about the on-board audio and whether I should purchase an audio PC Card.

I want the best sound possible for my PowerBook and I came across the Echo IndigoIO PC Card. It looks really promising and I'm wondering if it's worth the $170 price tag? One of the nicer features is a headphone amplifier, especially since I use Sennheiser HD 280 Silver headphones at 64 OHMS so that amplifier could come in handy. It as well has true 24 bit, 96kHz audio. I can't seem to find any detailed info on the PowerBook's audio so I don't know if they already have this specification. Anyway, any advice on the Echo Indigo cards would be greatly appreciated!
