I have a Mac Pro with Java 1.6 and a MacBook with Java 1.5 that are syncing an Eclipse workspace with Dropbox. Occasionally, I will open Eclipse and see empty folders everywhere. All the files will be there, but it won't see them, and F5 refreshing won't work. I have to just move the workspace, open Eclipse again, and re-import existing projects.
And sometimes, it even deletes the source code. What the...
I thought this had something to do with Dropbox, but I saved my projects, closed Eclipse, then opened it a minute later on the same computer. Dropbox doesn't even touch anything that was saved on your computer and wasn't synced from another, does it? Well my projects are corrupt again.
This happens to someone else I know. Anyone else experiencing this problem, or does anyone have a fix?
