Ecobee3 in the uk

Hi all, a bit of help please, i live in the uk, I am moving house soon and would like to install an ecobee3 thermostat , however I read they are for the USA and the voltage set up isn't compatible with uk voltage, I think uk voltage is much higher than that of USA , has any uk member set it up successfully, I have read something about a relay but as you can tell I don't know what I'm doing so I would be using a professional to install this. I really like the look of ecobee3 as its HomeKit enabled and works with alexa, all help/advice appreciated. Thanks bruce
