Ecommerce site questions/suggestions

Hey guys. To those of you who have setup any Ecommerce sites, what platform do you prefer?

I am working on a store that has about 1000 products. I have used WooCommerce for a smaller store I updated myself and had pretty good luck with it. My colleague will be updating this larger site though, and from various reviews people seem to be pretty fond of Opencart, mainly for it's ease of use.

Also on the table are options like Shopify.

Anyone have any opinions/suggestions?
