OK, it's good news that this great app is now free. Personally I though Ecoute was worth the asking price... But that's not the real message - it's bad news that again a developer is trying to comply but is being unreasonably and excessively constrained by Apple's sandboxing rules.

I agree it's Apple's hard policy that is the main cause.
 
What's with all that whining by devs? Is it really so hard to implement something like scrivener:

Just add relevant folders once and all subfolders are normally usable in the future without problems.

Apple may sometimes be strange with requirements but in this case I really don't understand some devs - it's easy and fast to solve...
