TAIWANESE FIRM ECS will make motherboards for Intel, according to a report in the Taipei Times.
Intel already contracts out a large number of its motherboard manufacturing, with Hon Hai (Foxconn) believed to be one of its major suppliers.

The move, said the Times, is related to the burgeoning Internet Cafe market in China and could amount to 10 million boards a year.

I believe that Foxconn was also Apple's supplier for a number of years, back when the Mac was on the PowerPC platform.
