Anyone getting an alert over and over again about Ed McMahon dying from AP Mobile? It might be funny to note that I had originally written out, "Anyone getting an alert about Ed McMahon dying over and over again from AP Mobile?" but then read it to myself and changed it. Hi-o!

I got it twice in a row. Jury's still out on push notifications from AP. I'm sure it's coming in a later release but I'd like to have an option for what alerts get sent to me. Not that I didn't like Ed McMahon...I'm just sayin'

Got it twice, one right after the other, both about 10 minutes later than the timestamp.

I really think its dumb how if you miss the alert, and maybe get multiple alerts, the badge shows how many you missed but then when you open the app it doesn't show them again? How will I know what notifications were sent? So stupid.

I got it twice as well, or at least heard the tone twice. I think AP is figuring this out on the go. I definitely think there needs to be a system of selecting what breaking news you get. Just be glad that you don't get EVERY breaking news alert the AP sends out. There are really a lot more than you see on this iPhone app.
