I have a 4tb EDD that I am using to download movies and tv shows while I live in Korea and the transfer speeds are fast. I am downloading exclusively to the EDD yet each torrent file is using up space on my start up disk and I am now receiving a message stating that my start up disk is full. I have emptied my cache and restarted the computer but it hasn't helped. If I "get info" through the MAC HD icon, it shows I am using about 180 GB out of 250, yet it says there is only 14 GB available. I just deleted some files from my start up disk in order to get 14, before that it was 1.5 GB.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do to fix this problem. Where would these files that are taking up room on my start up disk happen to be stored? Any info you can provide is helpful.
