On my other phone which is an Android i just switched from Chrome to Edge browser and so far so good with way less ads.

On my iPhone running iOS 18.7 I'm still running Safari. But considering to switching to Edge on the iPhone as well.

Is anyone else running Edge on iPhone? If so please post your opinions.

Many sources say that Edge may drain more battery than Safari. That might be a deal breaker for me...

I was an Android user for many moons, I used chrome pretty much the entire time. Since I started using the iPhone I only use Safari. But in the only Apple, Apple way, Safari is very Applecentric. That’s not to say Edge, or any non Apple browser isn’t an overall superior browser compared to Safari, just that Safari benefits from all the baked in Apple goodies.
