So I have a jailbroken v1.1.1 U.S. completely legit iPhone and I've been a big fan of the app "Services" that quickly allows you to turn EDGE, SSH, WiFi, and Bluetooth on/off.
In goal to conserve battery power I've read it's helpful to turn these services off so I turned off WiFi, SSH and (for like the 5th time?) EDGE. I got home, turned it on and received an error:
"Incorrect EDGE Settings. Select your carrier to restore:
AT&T
T-Mobile Unlimited
T-Mobile T-Zones
Other"
So I selected AT&T and got a confirmation message to "Restore to AT&T"
I first got a popup saying "Incorrect EDGE settings", and then got a warning saying how I may be charged for roaming and I can "handle" Edge By going to Settings->General->Network->Data Roaming (at bottom). I can't get my iPhone to reduplicate the exact message but it gave me the above warning.
Not only that but it forgot ALL of my networks!!! It immediately asked for my network key once I got through all the EDGE warnings/confirmations.
I don't wanna be charged and I REALLY don't wanna reformat my phone & go through that entire hassle just to make sure I don't get overcharged.
Any suggestions?
