Edge not showing up

Wondering if anybody could help me. as of today edge is no longer showing up on my phone which means I can't get my email or internet or visual voicemail. I havent encountered this problem before since I have had my phone. I have full bars. thanx

Have you tried restarting your phone?

If that doesn't work, try a restore.

If THAT doesn't work, then it's probably your EDGE chip in the phone. If it's still under warranty, call Apple and have them replace it.

Restarting the phone did work. I didnt even think of that last night but tried it when i woke up this morning and the edge network came back.
