iPod touch Edge on the touch?

You can have a small EDGE(or even 3G)-enabled smartphone with you and hack it so that it pretends to be a router, which the iTouch can connect to. Just search around, there should be a thread or two on this subject.

well, I was thinking more for the edge to be used as a source for a laptop. ie. tethering a mbp to an ipod touch. That would be really cool and make the iphone replaceable in my opinion. I just want an iphone without the phone lol.
