edge settings on UK phone

please can someone just check their EDGE settings on their Uk iPhone. There are several threads about UK EDGE but still no one has confirmed them. please.

I dont think you can see the settings on it. I have looked everywhere.

The settings are hidden on the UK phones - they should be in the General-Network settings menu like on my hacked US iPhone but they are not!

I guess this is because the only reason to mess with the settings is so you can turn it on and off and as data is unlimited then why would anyone want to do that?

i'll post in the hacking forums. won't be long before someone works out those EDGE setting that are greyed out.

i'm pretty sure there's no big secret. as the general GPRS / EDGE setting i have are working and a lot faster than i expected. so i'm thinking it's not an iPhone specific setting afterall.
