edge with hacked phone under atnt acct with no internet plan.

if i unlock my phone.
and i use an old sim card from at&t which i only pay like 39.99 1000 min w/ no internet.

if i put that card into a hacked phone, will i be charged for internet?
or will it tell me this line dosn't have edge..?
or is there anyway for me to turn of edge? so that i can use that sim card?

if you carrier has a pay as you go internet as part of your plan, they often will have edge enabled and you will get billed their standard data rate if you use it. the best thing to do is to called you carried and check your account details, they will be able to disable internet access for you.

You can download an app called Bossprefs and disable edge. I think this is how most people do it.
