I made a video tape for my counselling assessment and I really messed something up at the end which I'd like to take out. Is there some way I can just get rid of that little part at the end and have it end at the part I want?

You can do it old school if you have 2 edit decks.

What do you mean by two edit decks? I was thinking of somehow taping it over with the "fuzzy stuff" we are literally talking about 20 seconds of footage right at the end -We taped this at the clinic so I don't have access to a camcorder

If its 20 at the end just tape over it. No need to edit. Are there going to be copies or just one tape.

Just this one tape. Is there anyway I can tape over it with "fuzzies" or something? Just might seem a bit suss that I accidentally start taping at that point.

So I'd just stop it just before where I want to tape over it and hit record would that be right? So stop just before the 20 seconds I want to tape over at the end of the tape

1. Put the tape in a VCR.
2. Fast forward to the point that you want to have erased.
3. Set the VCR to a channel that has nothing on it (find one with "fuzzies" on it)
4. Press Record.

Yes, stop just before the point you want erased. And hit the record button. Whatever your VCR sees is what will show up on the tape.

(So if it's fuzzies, it'll record fuzzies. If it's the 10 o'clock news, it'll record the news.) This will be recorded over the part you don't want.

what happened, is there accidentally a little softcore porn at the end from what you taped over and you need to get rid of it? haha
