edit about this mac os x 10.7

I have an early 2008 MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz running OS X 10.7.5 Lion. In the second dialog box for the "About This Mac" "More Info" the model and year displayed for my computer only show the following "15-inch 2.4/2.2" without listing the year or the actual CPU speed. How do I modify or edit this information so that it is correct? I am not a novice but at the same time I am not completely computer savy so please be relatively detailed in your response. Thanks for your help.
