Hey everyone. I bought my iPhone 4 full price from Apple Online so it's factory unlocked. For a year I used it with Telus in Canada. Popped the sim in, everything worked fine. I just upgraded to Bell but I signed up for a BlackBerry plan as everyone told me if I do that I can get a free BlackBerry, and then my account is provisioned for BIS and I can swap the sim back and forth to use iPhone etc if I want.

Anyway, I put the sim in the iPhone and phone/text works fine, but I don't have any data. Bell says I have to go to the Cellular Data Network tab to enter the settings but I don't have that tab. Apparently it doesn't exist anymore because it detects the SIM and just gets the settings from that. On the settings screen it shows Carrier is Bell 10.0 but no data.

I went to unlockit.co.nz and did the custom APN and entered Bell settings, and this works for data and tethering, but no MMS. I believe it's because Bell says I need to edit MMSC and Proxy settings which APN changer doesn't do. I've also tried the iPhone Configuration Utility but that doesn't allow you to enter MMSC which is a different server from the APN.

I'm at a loss, Bell won't help since they say I didn't get the phone from them and just directed me to their site with instructions which shows going to the Cellular Data Network tab.

Basically what I need is a way to edit MMSC server and proxy on my phone, which is NOT jailbroken. Everything works just no MMS and I believe it's because those settings are missing.

I tried a tethered jailbreak for fun but couldn't even find a way to change these settings, all the guides online to bring that tab back don't seem to work anymore and the APN changer thing in Cydia also fails to install. I'm on iPhone 4 4.3.5.

Does anyone have any idea? Not sure why this is so difficult, everything online just seems to be jailbreak solutions.

Thanks so much!
