Edit Quark express logo with different program

Help I am new to Mac, I have panther on an Imac. I have a logo I need to change , the logo was designed with quark express. The company that designed the logo is out of business and I just need to add the letters LLC to it.Is there a simple way to do this with a different program, or is there any one out there that could help me?
