(Edit: resolved) 14" MBP Magsafe charger is unreliable

One feature I was waiting for the most in the new MBPs was the return of the Magsafe. However, now it seems that the laptop often doesn't recognize Magsafe. There is no debris in any of the connectors. Anyone having similar problems?

Do you mean that it doesn’t charge or the light go on or…? At any rate, I haven’t noticed anything like that with mine.

Also, which of the chargers?

It's the smaller wattage charger. The charging light gets lit and the computer recognizes the charger, but it just doesn't charge. Same happened before with failing USB-C-cables but it's strange as this one is new. Maybe I need to take it to a store.

Oops, realized almost immediately after posting that it's an automatic feature aimed at optimizing battery life by using it every now and then.
