Hey,

I am the admin account.

I have used Mac since mid 2003 when I bought the first flat screen iMac OS X Jaguar. Since OS X Tiger I have always used different icons. I am quite knowledgable of how to use OS X, definitely not a novice user.

I have a problem. I can't seem to force OS X to replace the Finder icons? I have viewed tutorials, read how-to's. Nothing has worked. Pre-Mavericks I used Panic's Candybar, I also since Mavericks have used LiteIcon. As many of you probably know, neither work for the Finder in Mavericks.

In my HD

The Library folder does not have Core Services visible. The System folder>Library has Core Services. Is the System folder>Library the only Library with Core Services?

System>Library>Core Services>Dock>Show Package Contents>Resources>replaced the Finder.png + Finder@2x.png. The only time it has replaced the icons they were blank, not the icons I tried to use.

I have tried Terminal>killall Dock, Restart, Log Out, Shut Off then Start. Nothing has worked. I am using the cinema MacBook Pro so it isn't the default to retina 1024px .png causing the problem.

HELP
