Have you looked in Soundtrack Loops? I've always wondered this too, never searched extensively though.

EDIT: Soundtrack Pro has a few good ones: Sweep Motion, Swish 1&2, Woosh 01-19

thanks for that, I had a look in iMovie actually and found quite a few good ones
