I would like to edit "Cut & Paste" video's from You Tube and other sites and compile into a new video.

I do not want to spend a butt load of money on software, what are the choices?

I tried iMovie but was in a rush last evening, a friend of mine mentioned FC Express.

Does anyone have any other suggestions ?

Thanks

Both iMovie and Final Cut Express would have to transcode the video into an editable format (like Apple Intermediate Codec) first.

Final Cut Express however is a multi-track NLE, which gives you quite a bit more flexibility in editing. But, it is a more complicated application and thus has a bit of a learning curve over what you might be used to in iMovie.
