My story begins about five days ago...
My friend's dad had a 2008 MacBook air from his work that he was about to throw out. My friend happened to @ school, and I asked for the computer. He agreed, and so did his dad. The next day, when I got the computer, booted up, like the mac convert who can't quite let go of windows I am, I was unhappy with the power of Mac OSX. I proceeded to Install Windows 8. At that point I tried to install boot camp 4.0. lets just say, Apple wasn't very happy that I installed 64-bit windows on such an "underpowered" machine, and told me that this machine didn't support 64-bit, despite he fact that my windows 8 is 64-bit. I wasn't happy with this. At all, so I searched up editing msi packages, and downloaded ORCA editor. I proceeded to edit the installer to remove apples stupid 64-bit madness. I am now sharing the edited msi with you all, so that any who have my problem can fix it.
WARNING: BOOTCAMP WILL NOT INSTALL WITHOUT ADMIN PRIVILAGES! RUN THE MSI AS AN ADMIN (follow instructions @ http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/158118-run-administrator-add-msi-file-context-menu.html for context menu addition. only way so far that works)
