I'm trying to edit a ton of video I took on a Flip Mino HD into a 5 minute HD (720p) video. Ideally I want to use one application to do everything, but if I can't, I need help knowing what I can do in each.

I need to:
- Create a time lapse of video (increasing playback speed)
- Include titles, music and transitions
- Export in 720p for YouTube playback
(and ideally) - Import/export short videos in minimal time

I'm editing on a 2008 White Macbook running Snow Leopard with 2 gigs of ram. I have access to a Windows 7 PC with Windows Movie Maker.

I initially tried importing the video into iMovie '08 but I had a bunch of issues (including find out that you cant speed up a clip in iMovie '08).

Now I'm thinking about starting from scratch and just importing everything into iMovie HD ('06) or Windows Movie Maker, but before I start the whole importing process all over again, I want to make sure I'm not missing out on any good advice or software I should be using. I've used iMovie HD a ton before for SD video, but I'm not sure if it supports 720p mp4's. I don't have access to Final Cut Pro, and I think the software that came with the Flip is pretty useless.

Help!
