How well does the macbook with the x3100 handle editing high definition? Amazingly enough, I haven't found an answer to that question yet. For all the people I hear touting mac being for people who love editing video's and photos, the only thing I can find is people talking about how it performs gaming. Lol. So, please, if someone who is seriously into editing (someone who preferably uses FCP not iMovie) can give me an honest breakdown of the performance of this machine, I'd be very appreciative.

The macbook I am contemplating is the 2.1GHz version. I will be upping the memory to 4Gigs, and swapping that puny 5400RPM drive out with a more efficient 7200RPM unit.

My only concern is the silly x3100 and how it handles rendering video. Thanks.

I use After Effects. That'll throw a curveball at it more than likely
