Hi everyone,
I've searched a couple of places but I haven't found a response that works for me, so I've resorted to posting.
I have a DVD recorder where I record shows off my cable box. I rip the DVD using HB to my computer, but now I'm left with a multi-GB file of a show. The ripped version is in the format (MP4) and quality that I want for my Apple TV, but now I want to edit this file (trim ends, remove commercials, etc.).
Looking around, what I've found is that I could use:
- QT Pro ($30 to buy)
- I also have MPEG Video Wizard from Womble that can read the MP4 and edit it, but for some reason, the ripped video file from HB has audio sync issues in Womble. But when I open the file in QT, there are no audio sync issues. Very strange.
Anyway, what else can I use that's easy, can batch process, and is cheap. I don't mind paying the $30 if I have to, but if I can find something cheaper, easier, and better, I would rather use that.
Thanks in advance.
Ed
