Editing Music Info?

Hey there

I'm curious is there a way to edit metadata of music files/ mp3's? I put some music on my device after I converted the sound files to mp3 but it's not recognizing the artist, just says "unknown artist".

I only know how to rename tracks/ files but there seems no way to actually edit the metadata/ info of the tracks itself. I tried all music players and file managers, so far no luck.

Any ideas?

Do it how? It already has metadata showing in iTunes but isn't compatible on my Android device.

Search the Play store for a ID3 tag editor. There are plenty to choose from.

There is a free program called MP3Tag which will let you edit mp3 tags and even add album art.

It runs on a windows desktop OS (Xp/7/8). Easy to use. Get that.
