Hi everyone.

I need to edit an existing YouTube video to remove the audio and leave it blank, and also to replace the audio with a different audio file.

First I was told to use iSquint to convert the file to mpeg4 for iMovie. But iMovie won't recognise it. Then I was told I needed MPEG Streamclip to convert the iSquint file. But that only imported the audio, and not the video.

I need some help sorting this out as I am now completely confused. Is there any free software out there that I can use to perform what I consider to be a very basic task?

Cheers.

Paul.
