Edits in iPhoto '11 not showing on iPad

Hi,

I have an iPad running ios5 and a Mac Book Pro running 10.7.2 with iPhoto '11 (v9.2). I only got the MBP recently, so this is the first time I have tried to sync photos I have edited on the MBP onto the iPad.

I have set iTunes to share 1 album onto my iPad.

This album on the iPad shows the photos pre-edit, not post.

Any ideas on how to correct this?

I've been doing some searching, the only option is to go into iPhoto and delete the ipod image cache each time, which is beyond dumb.

Anyone have any other solutions from within iPhoto?
