Hi folks,

Recently I have added a work to the user edit dictionary on my iphone.
Say, a word spelt 'ngo' (all in lower case!)

When I went back to the message app and tried to type 'ngo'
It auto corrects it into 'NGO'

Is there any way to put the work in 'ngo'?

:p Sorry I'm new to the forum so excuse me if I should post this thread elsewhere :p

Cheers

I am also interested into this, was going to make a new thread but this one suit my question. Dont matter what I do everytime I type "tava" it auto corrects to "Tava". That annoys me. Is there any fix?

No, currently there is no way to edit or add words to the iphone dictionary. Hope they do enable something like this down the road though.
Its hell trying to type hell and beeing autocorrected to he'll.:D

Under Settings, Reset, you can Reset Keyboard Dictionary. But that wipes everything you've ever taught it out and means you're starting over. So be sure you're OK with that before using that option.

Sure wish they'd fix it so you can edit just one lousy word!
