Education apps suitable for 1st & 2nd graders?

My daughter is finishing Kindergarten and has pretty much stolen my iPad. She's advanced enough that her teachers have suggested she skip a grade.

With that in mind, does anyone have any good suggestions for apps for her?

There are tons of math apps out there and no real way to figure out which ones are good.

I've been checking out a couple apps by Montessorium - Alpha Writer and Intro to Math. The two are probably too basic for a kid who's ready for second grade, but theyre fairly well-done so you might see of the company has anything more advanced.
