Education Discount Applies to Part-Timer?

Since I am in High School and am not eligible for the Back to School promo, I was going to use my mom's ID if I was required to show it to Apple. She is a Part-Timer at a school district's office, and she is also a Full-Time substitute teacher. Do either of these count as a K-12 faculty or staff member?
