Education Discount In Canada

So I'm going to buy a MBP this week, and I can't seem to some info on the website, my question is, Can I get a student discount IN store, or is it only online?

I just bought my MBP tonight, actually, I am setting it up right now

I could not find any helpful info online either. I went into the apple store and I was told that the discount worked instore too. I received 100 dollars off, however, I had to bring proof that I am a teacher (I assume the same goes for students).
